Business Architecture Analyst
About the role
Designs, plans and coordinates all aspects of business-related projects from initiation to delivery. Projects often involve technical and non-technical aspects. Coordinates work across multiple teams including internal customers/partners by defining project requirements, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments. Responsible for the development and execution of business-related solutions for clients often including a technical component. Manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints.
Responsibilities
- Understand and map current tools landscape and architecture to propose an optimized framework.
- Work with cross-functional teams and IT to ensure seamless program execution of all platforms and tools we manage.
- Drive solution and architecture design for new transformation initiatives.
- Ensure key solutions from these initiatives meet business needs, scalable and align with industry standards.
- Define quantifiable metrics to measure benefits, define baseline and target metrics based on the solution.
- Build project plan, business architecture proposals, lead cross functional activities and ensure it delivers the desired outcome and goals.
- Work with business authorities, process owners, as well as IT experts to support cross functional initiatives.
- Develop and refine content for leadership presentations, working with leads within the organization.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience, with 2+ years as an Architect in Supply Chain domain, Product Lifecycle Management or similar.
- Bachelor’s Degree with some relevant Product Life Cycle experience.
- Functional knowledge of product development methodologies (IE. Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
- Familiarity with advanced technologies like AI/ML, Agentic AI usage, and automation in Supply Chain.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Operations Management is desirable.
- Expert in Supply Chain operations- Product Lifecycle Mgmt., Parts & BOM, Engineering Change Orders, Product Data Management.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills including written, verbal, and listening skills at all levels of the organization.
- Team player with strong organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to connect and communicate with both business and IT technical staff.
- Ability to multi-task, focus, and tackle problems analytically.
- Ability to work with multi-functional teams, including business and IT.
- Self-motivated individual with ability to empower and encourage others.
- Strong sense of ownership and integrity.
- High energy with ability to motivate and encourage others.
Skills
- Experience as Business Architect in large scale transformation programs.
- Familiarity with Global Supply Chain operations and processes, New Product Introduction, Product Lifecycle Management, Commerce Config-Price-Quote processes and technical knowledge of Engineering BOM, various Part types, Engineering Change Orders, and Compliance operations.

Pay
The starting salary range posted for this position is $95,000.00 to $120,400.00 and reflects the projected salary range for new hires in this position in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation*, equity, or benefits. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training.
Schedule
Employees On Sales Plans Earn Performance-based Incentive Pay On Top Of Their Base Salary, Which Is Split Between Quota And Non-quota Components, Subject To The Applicable Cisco Plan. For Quota-based Incentive Pay, Cisco Typically Pays As Follows .75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; andOnce performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target.
