About the role
CGI is seeking an experienced Business Architect to support large-scale marketing and digital transformation initiatives within a highly regulated financial services environment. This role partners closely with marketing, digital, data, and technology teams to define and evolve business architecture capabilities, operational processes, and technology alignment across enterprise marketing functions.
Responsibilities
- Translate business strategy and customer experience goals into scalable architectural models, process frameworks, and delivery roadmaps.
- Support governance efforts, process optimization, agile delivery adoption, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure marketing initiatives are delivered efficiently, with clear visibility into priorities, risks, dependencies, and outcomes.
- Partner with engineering and cloud teams supporting AWS-based solutions and modern digital platforms.
- Work effectively with agile or product-based delivery teams in fast-paced enterprise environments.
- Lead business process analysis and optimization, particularly around marketing operations and campaign workflows.
- Communicate with executive leadership and influence cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in business architecture, marketing technology, digital transformation, or related disciplines.
- Strong background in business architecture, digital transformation, or marketing technology environments.
- Familiarity with enterprise process modeling tools such as ARIS or similar repositories.
- Solid understanding of Martech ecosystems including CMS, CRM, analytics, personalization, and AI-enabled platforms.
- Ability to work effectively with engineering and cloud teams supporting AWS-based solutions and modern digital platforms.
- Proven experience supporting agile or product-based delivery teams in fast-paced enterprise environments.
- Strong business process analysis and optimization skills, particularly around marketing operations and campaign workflows.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including presenting to executive leadership.
- Comfortable balancing multiple initiatives, priorities, and resource constraints simultaneously.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Relevant certifications in Business Architecture, Agile, AWS, or Enterprise Architecture are considered a plus.

To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $108,300.00 - $172,600.00.
