Business Architect - Supply Chain Planning
About the role
The Supply Planning Business Architect owns the "Planning Transformation," a key initiative within Cisco’s Supply Chain organization. This team is responsible for unifying demand and supply planning processes to support Cisco’s evolving organizational model. As a transformation leader, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and IT, driving innovation and strategic alignment.
Responsibilities
- Drive the re-writing of Cisco’s planning playbook, establishing a framework to guide operations for years to come.
- Lead the integration and deployment of agentic AI capabilities, transforming advanced technology into practical supply chain applications.
- Work with stakeholders across the organization to align strategic goals with architectural changes to deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Translate business strategy into capability requirements, benchmark processes against industry best practices, and serve as the critical liaison between Business and IT.
Requirements
- 10–12 years of supply chain experience with expertise in at least two of the following areas: Supply Chain Planning, Scheduling, Backlog Management, S&OP, NPI, Inventory Management, Manufacturing Operations, Logistics, Customer Service, or Purchasing.
- 5+ years of dedicated project/program management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels, including senior leadership.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive consensus.
- Showed experience in modeling business processes using industry-standard tools and techniques.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree preferred.
- APICS or Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
- Strong enterprise-wide perspective on business strategy, supply chain processes, capabilities, and governance.
- Experience in planning and deploying complex business and IT initiatives.

Pay
The starting salary range posted for this position is $146,100.00 to $190,300.00 and reflects the projected salary range for new hires in this position in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation*, equity, or benefits.
Schedule
This is a Hybrid role that will report to either the San Jose, Austin, RTP or Guadalajara Cisco offices 2-3 days a week.
