About the role

Provides technical and process support for defined business systems or applications, including testing assistance. Assists in developing and determining best practices, conducting research on technology-related situations or opportunities, and proposing solutions. Ensures business standards and requirements are met.

Ideal candidates have experience in SaaS systems administration, particularly supporting online and mobile banking, Positive Pay, dispute tracking, and/or Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Configures or customizes systems for business use.
  • Implements changes following a defined process and tests business functionality.
  • Serves as a contact for troubleshooting problems or issues.
  • Identifies areas for improvement and presents recommendations.
  • Leads system upgrades, fixes, and patches; creates and manages test scripts and issue resolution processes.
  • Creates and maintains system documentation and governance.
  • Conducts training as necessary.
  • Prepares reports supporting proposed suggestions or recommendations to improve processes and reduce risk.
  • Assists business analysts in identifying areas for improvement through conversations, interactions, and observations.
  • Collaborates with lines of business on recommendations for existing and new systems.
  • Participates in execution and implementation processes.
  • Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and resolves complex process and technical problems specific to business applications.
  • Provides escalation to IT and other business lines as needed.
  • Monitors system health, manages interruptions, and works with vendors and partners to restore service during outages.
  • Performs duties such as system monitoring, implementations, or changes during nontraditional working hours as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working in bank operations or similar IT experience.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving techniques.
  • Excellent verbal, listening, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Basic project management and planning skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with ambiguity.
  • Aptitude in understanding workflows and process mapping.
  • Leadership and teamwork skills to foster good working relationships across lines of business.
