About the Opportunity:The BUSINESS APPLICATION ADMINISTRATOR is responsible for operating and maintaining enterprise applications to ensure high availability, security, and performance. This role contributes to the organization's mission by delivering reliable application services, supporting user needs, and improving system processes. The position plays a vital role in sustaining critical applications that enable government operations and public service. Responsibilities:Operate and maintain enterprise applications with high availability and secure performance.Plan, design, build, and test application deployment and upgrade activities.Provide user support and troubleshoot system issues independently or with teams.Support auditing processes by providing necessary evidence.Develop and update processes and procedures to enhance quality, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and security.Apply Windows operating system patches. Requirements:Minimum of two years of IT experience.At least one year of recent, demonstrable experience as a System Administrator for on-premise applications.Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and Visio.Experience in technical writing.Bachelor's degree or equivalent.Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.Ability to identify improvement areas and recommend solutions.Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.U.S. Citizenship.
