Responsibilities
- Lead business analytics efforts for the Commercial Operations function by translating data into clear insights that support strategic and day-to-day decisions.
- Oversee the business-side ownership of Salesforce, ensuring the platform remains reliable, well-governed, and aligned with commercial reporting needs.
- Build and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and recurring reports that provide visibility into pipeline activity, revenue trends, customer performance, and operational metrics.
- Develop forecasting models and analytical frameworks that help leadership evaluate opportunities, measure results, and improve planning accuracy.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define reporting requirements, standardize key metrics, and improve the consistency of commercial data across systems.
- Perform ad hoc analysis using SQL and business intelligence tools to answer urgent business questions and uncover performance drivers.
- Establish and reinforce data governance practices that improve the accuracy, completeness, and usability of Salesforce and related commercial data.
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to support enhancements, resolve data issues, and ensure reporting solutions meet operational needs.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in business analytics, data analysis, or a closely related function.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL for querying, validating, and analyzing data.
- Proven background in business intelligence, including dashboard creation, KPI reporting, and ad hoc analysis.
- Experience with data modeling and forecasting methods used to support commercial or operational planning.
- Demonstrated ability to work with Salesforce data and manage reporting or platform-related business processes.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices for maintaining trusted business data.
- Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to both business leaders and technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in data analysis software such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and technologies.
- Experience with data integration and ETL processes.
- Experience with data security and privacy regulations.
