About the role

AMA Consulting, LLC, a Maryland-based Limited Liability Company, provides a range of analytical, acquisition, and business management support services to federal agencies. This role supports the development and implementation of standardized operating procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out stakeholder interviews and analyze existing processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and compliance risks
  • Create current-state (As-Is) and future-state (To-Be) process maps to support process standardization
  • Design and implement automated workflows using DocuWare or similar platforms, including routing, approvals, and document lifecycle management
  • Translate business requirements into system configurations and workflow logic
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment between process design, system functionality, and SOP documentation
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT), troubleshoot issues, and refine workflows as needed
  • Aid in platform deployment and support user onboarding and adoption

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field
  • At least 5–8+ years of Business Analysis experience
  • Show experience with workflow automation and process improvement
  • Have hands-on experience with DocuWare, SharePoint, Power Automate, or similar platforms
  • Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
  • Experience supporting public sector or regulated environments
  • Familiarity with document management systems and records management practices

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5–8+ years of Business Analysis experience
  • Demonstrated experience with workflow automation and process improvement
  • Hands-on experience with DocuWare, SharePoint, Power Automate, or similar platforms
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
  • Experience supporting public sector or regulated environments
  • Familiarity with document management systems and records management practices
