Job Summary
Randstad Digital is seeking an experienced Business Analyst for an opportunity in Kansas City, MO. The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for leading the implementation and delivery of workflow automation initiatives, including more than 20 workflow implementations and related Business Unit Workflows within Salesforce.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of workflow initiatives and drive them from planning through implementation.
- Develop and maintain actionable plans, priorities, and backlogs.
- Lead requirements gathering, workflow design, testing, pilot programs, and user acceptance efforts.
- Communicate effectively with project teams, business leaders, vendors, and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and challenges, adjusting plans and priorities as needed.
- Foster collaboration while confidently challenging assumptions and driving informed decision-making.
- Ensure workflow implementations deliver business value and support long-term operational goals.
- Establish trusted partnerships across business and technology teams through accountability, responsiveness, and execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- 5+ years of experience in a business analyst or similar role required.
- Financial Services Background: Strongly preferred experience within wealth management, trust administration, investment management, or related financial services environments.
- Technical Familiarity: Strong preference for a background working with Salesforce ecosystems.
Core Functions
- Experience dealing with workflows related to cash disbursements and opening accounts is highly desirable.
- Business Analysis & Agile Skills: End-to-End Delivery: Proven ability to own workflow initiatives from initial discovery, planning, and requirements gathering through to solution design, testing, pilot execution, and implementation.
- Agile/Scrum Capabilities: Must be able to write clear user stories and possess a strong understanding of how to pass and independently accept user stories.
- Complex Thinking: Ability to understand complex dependencies and how more than 20 parallel workflows interact and integrate across platforms.
- Ownership Mentality: Act as a proactive "project owner" or "product owner" type, confidently serving as the voice of the project team to steering committees and stakeholders.
- Strategic Communication: Exceptional communication skills to facilitate discussions, manage backlogs, and collaborate effectively with business leaders, subject matter experts, tech teams, and third-party vendors.
- Adaptability & Drive: Highly engaged, accountable professional who can drive teams toward delivery commitments and adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
