About the role
We are seeking an exceptional Business Analyst to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, and advanced analytics to transform business processes in a multi-site manufacturing environment. This role supports a growing group of packaging machinery manufacturing companies operating across nine U.S. locations.
Responsibilities
- Identify and implement AI-enabled solutions that automate manual processes, improve workflow efficiency, and enhance business visibility.
- Develop scalable reporting, dashboards, and analytics to support Materials Management, Purchasing, Inventory, Forecasting, Production Planning, and Supplier Performance.
- Analyze operational and enterprise data to uncover opportunities for cost reduction, improved productivity, and smarter decision-making.
- Partner with leaders across Materials Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, and IT to improve business processes and standardize best practices across multiple facilities.
- Evaluate and deploy modern technologies, automation tools, and AI applications that create measurable operational value.
- Collaborate with division leaders and AI champions driving standardization across the business unit where appropriate.
- Help establish a data-driven operating environment through improved data governance, reporting accuracy, and process discipline.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing Analytics, or related roles.
- Demonstrated experience using AI, automation, and analytics tools to improve business processes and decision-making.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing, materials management, supply chain operations, inventory management, and ERP/MRP systems.
- Experience developing dashboards, KPIs, and actionable reporting tools using platforms such as Power BI, SQL, Excel, Power Automate, Python, or similar technologies.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to simplify complexity and influence business decisions.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and drive initiatives in a fast-paced operational environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in packaging machinery, industrial equipment, engineered products, or discrete manufacturing.
- Experience implementing AI-powered workflow automation or predictive analytics.
- Multi-site manufacturing experience and a track record of operational improvement.
