Business Analyst With Public Safety exp

Responsibilities

• Support current DPS projects and priorities in the facilitation of gathering themes/epics/user stories/acceptance criteria and analysis of existing requirements documentation.
• Directly support project and development teams on various initiatives to improve agency effectiveness, compliance with applicable statutes, and enhance service delivery capabilities.
• Facilitate project development and quality assurance discussions on gathering story points to use for a predictive level of effort model.
• Create themes/epics/user stories/acceptance criteria according to Agency standards.
• Convert existing use cases to actionable user stories/epics/acceptance criteria in Jira.
• Analyze existing process documentation and document potential opportunities to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency.
• Support development and implementation of various initiatives.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst in the technology or emerging technology domain.
• 4+ years of experience with Agile project management methodologies and practices.

Preferred Skills

• 1+ year of experience in understanding and documenting use cases.
• 1+ year of experience in process documentation and process mapping.
