Business Analyst (Wholesale lending)

About the role

Develop creative technical solutions to meet business needs and manage complex, high-volume applications in partnership with business partners and stakeholders. Lead the formulation of strategies and processes for Product Roadmap Development and Governance, and contribute to defining standards and new automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop communication to guide, influence, and convince others, including colleagues in other areas and external customers.
  • Provide advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business; filter, prioritize, and validate potentially complex material from multiple sources.
  • Work among a team of committed individuals to solicit and document detailed and thorough system and functional requirements (BRD), including various workflows to enhance the business technology platform.
  • Transition requirements to QA teams across multiple global regions; assist in identifying test scenarios and work with business users to execute UAT, conduct business user training, and manage technology implementation.
  • Deliver material presentations to Senior Management and application owners; apprise key stakeholders of project health.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding its clients and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in business analysis or systems analysis.
  • Demonstrated expertise in presenting and using planning tools.
  • Proven diplomatic and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact by weighing various action plans and balancing potentially conflicting needs.
  • Superb analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical skillsets to query and analyze data through SQL; excellent proficiency with Excel, Word, Project, Visio, and PowerPoint products.
  • Experience with wholesale credit risk or wholesale lending transactions (a plus).
  • Experience with loan origination and securitization process (a plus).
  • LoanIQ experience (a plus).

Pay

The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum salary target for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, job level, and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Depending on the position, other forms of compensation may be provided as part of overall compensation, such as an annual performance-based bonus, sales incentive pay, and other forms of bonus or variable compensation.
