Business Analyst (Wholesale lending)
About the role
Develop creative technical solutions to meet business needs and manage complex, high-volume applications in partnership with business partners and stakeholders. Lead the formulation of strategies and processes for Product Roadmap Development and Governance, and contribute to defining standards and new automation initiatives.
Provide advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business, filtering, prioritizing, and validating potentially complex material from multiple sources. Work within a team to solicit and document detailed system and functional requirements (BRD), including workflows to enhance the business technology platform.
Transition requirements to QA teams across multiple global regions, assist in identifying test scenarios, work with business users to execute UAT, conduct business user training, and manage technology implementation. Deliver presentations to Senior Management and application owners, apprising key stakeholders of project health.
Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding its clients and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, and applying sound ethical judgment.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategy and process formulation for Product Roadmap Development and Governance.
- Develop communication to guide, influence, and convince stakeholders, including colleagues and external customers.
- Document detailed system and functional requirements (BRD), including workflows.
- Transition requirements to QA teams globally, assist in test scenario identification, and support UAT execution.
- Conduct business user training and manage technology implementation.
- Deliver presentations to Senior Management and application owners regarding project health.
- Assess risk in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience in business analysis or systems analysis.
- Demonstrated expertise in presenting and using planning tools.
- Proven diplomatic and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact by weighing action plans and balancing conflicting needs.
- Superb analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Technical skills to query and analyze data through SQL.
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, Project, Visio, and PowerPoint.
Qualifications
- Experience with wholesale credit risk or wholesale lending transactions (a plus).
- Experience with loan origination and securitization processes (a plus).
- LoanIQ experience (a plus).

Pay
The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum salary target for the position across all US locations. Individual pay is determined by work location, job level, and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Depending on the position, other forms of compensation may include an annual performance-based bonus, sales incentive pay, or other forms of bonus or variable compensation.
Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, performance, and internal equity.
