The Business Analyst Sr (Payments Industry / Business Reporting) is responsible for aligning technology solutions with business strategies to enhance reporting capabilities and improve forecasting and operational planning within Payments. This role combines technical data analysis with strategic insight to support informed business decisions and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ongoing business reporting and identify opportunities to use data for strategic insights
• Develop and maintain reports and models continuously
• Refine historical and forecasted business metrics to guide decisions
• Compile reporting packages with results and variance analysis
• Identify and implement process improvements and standardization
• Define key data elements and support data consistency and quality projects
• Drive technology adoption to reduce manual work and improve reporting accuracy
• Support transition from legacy reporting systems to modern platforms
• Generate ad hoc reports through custom data queries
• Collaborate with internal and external partners for data gathering
• Develop consistent views of product performance and operational support
• Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of work experience, preferably in Payments or related industry
• Strong problem-solving skills for complex data and technical issues
• Project management skills for reporting migration and ad hoc requests
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal customers
• Experience with ThoughtSpot, PowerBI, SQL, Snowflake, Advanced Excel, and Salesforce Reporting
• Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes

Pay

Salary range: $72,000 – $120,000. Individual pay depends on experience, qualifications, skills, and location. Eligible for annual performance-based incentive.
