A leading technology company is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to support critical applications running on a cloud-native architecture using Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role focuses on Kubernetes, automation, containerized solutions, application monitoring, and performance improvement. The Lead DevOps Engineer will also provide technical guidance to teams and help ensure reliable, efficient application operations in a remote work environment.

Responsibilities

• Support critical applications within a cloud-native GCP architecture.
• Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters.
• Implement and improve DevOps automation processes.
• Deploy and support containerized solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development and technical teams.
• Implement effective application monitoring.
• Monitor and improve application performance.
• Support the reliability and operational efficiency of cloud-native applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science.
• Strong Perl scripting skills.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience managing Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience deploying containerized solutions.
• Ability to implement automation processes.
• Ability to provide technical guidance to teams.
• Experience supporting cloud-native applications.
• Experience with application monitoring.
