About the role
This role will act as a bridge between business users and technical developers, ensuring the new ServiceNow system is intuitive, efficient, and aligned with evolving operational and organizational needs. You will support the Join Cyber Defense Collaborative (JCDC) Production Team in transforming from a legacy SharePoint environment to ServiceNow.
Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders, including CISA IT and JCDC teams, to gather, document, and prioritize business and technical requirements.
- Translate business needs into actionable specifications for development and implementation within the ServiceNow platform.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure accurate configuration, functionality, and user experience during system build and rollout.
- Follow the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from requirements gathering through design, testing, deployment, and validation.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and facilitate feedback sessions to validate requirements, identify gaps, and recommend enhancements.
- Support change management and user adoption activities to ensure a smooth transition to the new platform.
- Evaluate and recommend digital tools and mediums to improve collaboration, workflow efficiency, and information accessibility across the team.
- Document workflows, use cases, and system integrations to support transparency and long-term sustainability of the platform.
Requirements
- Active DHS Top Secret Clearance required.
- Ability to be physically present for sensitive meetings in the National Capital Region (NCR).
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst supporting enterprise system transitions or implementations, preferably with ServiceNow or similar workflow platforms.
- Familiarity with SharePoint, ServiceNow, and digital collaboration tools.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to translate business processes into technical requirements and work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Prior experience supporting Federal, DoD, or cybersecurity-focused environments preferred.

Pay
The anticipated salary range for this position is $85,000–$93,000, based on relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other job-related qualifications.
