Business Analyst (Non-IT) 3

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a North America Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) team. This role is ideal for a highly analytical professional who enjoys working with data, forecasting trends, monitoring demand, and collaborating with business partners to ensure customer demand is effectively prioritized and fulfilled.

About the role

This is a 6-month contract position based in Peoria, IL, with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The work arrangement is 100% on-site.

Responsibilities

• Support demand planning activities through data analysis, reporting, and business partner collaboration.
• Assist the Demand Manager in executing Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
• Monitor sales activity, customer orders, and inventory levels to identify risks and recommend actions.
• Develop and maintain reports that provide visibility into demand, supply, and inventory trends.
• Gather, analyze, and synthesize data from multiple sources to support business decisions.
• Identify issues, evaluate alternatives, and recommend data-driven solutions.
• Communicate insights and findings clearly to internal stakeholders.
• Support demand forecasting efforts and contribute to planning activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Demand Planning, Demand Management, Supply Chain Analysis, Order Management, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with large datasets, reporting, and business performance analysis.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
• Demand planning, forecasting, supply chain, or order management experience.
• Previous experience as a Demand Analyst, Order Analyst, or similar role.
