Business Analyst (Non-IT) 2

Location: Chillicothe, IL • 100% onsite • 12-month contract • Up to 25% domestic travel

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Business Analyst 2 to support procurement and supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, supplier management, or data analysis who are looking to further develop their careers in sourcing and procurement. This role offers exposure to supplier management, financial analysis, pricing activities, and cost-reduction initiatives while working closely with buyers and procurement professionals.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supplier, pricing, quality, shipping, and financial data
• Pull and interpret data from internal systems to support business decisions
• Create presentations, reports, and documentation for leadership reviews
• Support pricing processes and approval documentation
• Monitor supplier performance and identify improvement opportunities
• Analyze spend data and support cost-reduction projects
• Partner with suppliers and internal stakeholders to improve business results
• Work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Associate’s degree considered with relevant experience)
• 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, business analysis, or related fields
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience working with data analysis and reporting
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

• Buyer or Procurement Analyst experience
• Supplier management experience
• Manufacturing industry experience
• SAP or ERP system experience
• Cost reduction or spend analysis experience

$28–$32/hr

Monday–Friday, 1st shift (7:00 AM–3:00 PM or 8:00 AM–4:00 PM)
