BUSINESS ANALYST (JOURNEYMAN)
About the role
The Business Analyst (Journeyman) will support a high-visibility federal program with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
Responsibilities
- Gather and document business and system requirements
- Develop process flows, use cases, and functional documentation
- Support Agile environments, including user story development and backlog management
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define business needs and reporting requirements
- Support system integration, testing, and user acceptance testing activities
- Collaborate with program leadership and technical teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery
Requirements
- Ability to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements
- Ability to develop process flows, use cases, and functional documentation
- Ability to support Agile environments, including user story development and backlog management
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to define business needs and reporting requirements
- Experience supporting federal programs or contracts of similar scope and complexity
- Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar business analysis tools
- At least five (5) years of experience in business analysis or related fields
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field
- Ability to obtain and maintain DHS suitability clearance
