BUSINESS ANALYST (JOURNEYMAN)

About the role

The Business Analyst (Journeyman) will support a high-visibility federal program with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business and system requirements
• Develop process flows, use cases, and functional documentation
• Support Agile environments, including user story development and backlog management
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define business needs and reporting requirements
• Support system integration, testing, and user acceptance testing activities
• Collaborate with program leadership and technical teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery

Requirements

• Ability to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements
• Ability to develop process flows, use cases, and functional documentation
• Ability to support Agile environments, including user story development and backlog management
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to define business needs and reporting requirements
• Experience supporting federal programs or contracts of similar scope and complexity
• Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar business analysis tools
• At least five (5) years of experience in business analysis or related fields
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field
• Ability to obtain and maintain DHS suitability clearance
