Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret complex manufacturing data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement
- Deal with ambiguity in a productive and positive manner by bringing the appropriate stakeholders together to gain clarity and consensus for next steps
- Collaborate with various departments, including IT, operations, materials, and engineering, to ensure alignment of goals and data-driven decision-making
- Investigate issues with manufacturing applications, conducting root cause analysis and aligning resources to correct the issues
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and participate in cross-functional business projects
- Independently gather, document, clarify, and validate business requirements
- Clarify and document current-state, future-state, and the gap that exists between the two states
- Develop and document solution design alternatives, and then lead a group through the collaborative process of finalizing recommendations and documenting rationale
- Define a project to the degree required to gain business support, funding, and resource
- Communicate functional requirement/specifications to developer team
- Lead end users through training and testing by documenting user guides, training materials, business processes, test plans, and then performing the required in-person reviews of the material
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
- 3 - 5 years' experience in a manufacturing or corporate business environment
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar
- Expertise in translating complex datasets into actionable insights using advanced SQL queries and stored procedures
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
- Strong commitment to accuracy, quality, and continuous improvement
Skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, Lean methodologies, and Six Sigma principles is preferred
- Experience with ERP systems and databases is a plus

Pay
The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $73,300 - $120,700 in Staunton. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
