Business Analyst
Responsibilities
- Conduct analyses and reporting in support of general business operations and planning activities including budget development, equipment availability and other capabilities.
- Assess requirements for internal business processes, ensuring integration across teams and business units and compatibility with organizational strategic goals.
- Document business processes and workflows; identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement.
- Analyze and evaluate business data to identify solutions to basic business problems; use quantitative analysis methodology to perform data, cost and benefit, and/or process measurement analysis.
- Analyze processes and workflows to understand value chain, input/output, to improve and/or automate business performance.
- Create reports that show key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement into current operations, and display root cause analysis of problems and value chain, input/output, to improve and/or automate business performance.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in business and operational strategy, planning and analysis.
- Basic understanding of business and operating environment.
- Working knowledge of data querying, reporting, forecasting, analysis and operations research.
- Research, analytical, and problem solving skills.
- Effective problem resolution skills including determining root cause, scope and scale of issues.
- Effective word processing and spreadsheet software skills.
- Effective project management skill to lead projects and/or initiatives of small to medium scope to include working effectively with diverse internal and external contacts.
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field.
