Business Analyst
About the role
Contributes to the entire software development life cycle from initial business requirements to deployment and production support.
Creates process maps, diagrams and documentation.
Prepares written and verbal deliverables and reports.
Develops and follows test plans and matrices.
Designs and implements test scenarios and cases.
Presents analysis results as needed for management and client reviews.
Prepares project schedule and budget analysis.
Captures, analyzes, and documents business requirements.
Provides production support of software products by investigating and re-creating reported defects.
Responsibilities
- Creates process maps, diagrams and documentation.

Requirements
- B.S. degree in an engineering discipline, Computer Science, Economics, Business, Law, Information Technology or Communications with a minimum of four (4) years relevant experience preferred.
- Some exposure to industry standards such as ASQ, APQC, ISO, Six Sigma, SEI, PMI, or IIBA.
- Good technical writing, analytical and communications skills essential, including ability to present concepts verbally.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project is required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with the use of Microsoft Outlook or equivalent e-mail program is desired as well as the use of Internet and other information processing and storage techniques to support research of alternatives and the definition of designs and concepts.
Qualifications

Pay
Expected compensation range is between $83k-$105k annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
Schedule
This will be a full-time, on-site position based at our client's office and is not remote.
