About the role

Amazon Relay is looking for a Business Analyst with a background in data analysis and creative problem-solving skills. In this role, you will work with stakeholders to build trust-based relationships and deliver timely, meaningful, and consumable data insights. You will support the Relay Marketing team and be responsible for data extraction, analysis, reporting, and visualization, with a focus on leveraging AI tools and automation to accelerate insight delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Quickly understand data requirements, operational workflows, and reporting needs across multiple teams.
  • Extract, clean, and analyze operational and marketing data from internal systems (e.g., data warehouses, reporting tools, third-party platforms).
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and root causes in operational data; develop actionable recommendations and escalate findings to leadership.
  • Understand marketing benchmarks and deliver reports that outline goals and results.
  • Build and maintain reporting packages, dashboards, and visualizations that enable data-driven decision-making for leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Leverage AI and automation to streamline reporting workflows, reduce manual effort, and continuously improve analytical processes.
  • Contact stakeholders globally to provide status reports, success metrics, communicate relevant information, and escalate when needed.
  • Perform regular audits and validation checks to maintain data integrity.

About the Team

Amazon Relay is a freight hauling platform that connects carriers with Amazon loads. The Relay Marketing team drives carrier-facing communications, product launches, and engagement strategies that fuel carrier adoption and satisfaction.

Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
  • Experience in Excel or SQL
  • Experience using databases with a large-scale data set

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with data visualization tools (like Tableau) and scripting languages (like R and Python)
  • Experience using hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and concepts
  • Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices
  • Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences

Pay

  • USA, GA, Atlanta: $55,800.00 – $97,600.00 USD annually
  • USA, TN, Nashville: $50,200.00 – $87,900.00 USD annually
  • USA, WA, Bellevue: $80,200.00 – $97,600.00 USD annually
