About the role

As a Business Analysis, Acquisitions - Principal Analyst / Manager at Mission Lane, you will play a critical role in driving strategic initiatives and ensuring seamless integration of new acquisitions. Your responsibilities will include analyzing market trends, assessing potential acquisition targets, developing acquisition strategies, and integrating new business operations into the existing framework.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify acquisition opportunities
  • Conduct due diligence on potential acquisition targets, including financial analysis and legal compliance checks
  • Develop acquisition strategies and negotiate terms with acquisition partners
  • Integrate new business operations into Mission Lane’s existing framework, ensuring alignment with company goals and values
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of acquisitions
  • Monitor post-acquisition performance and make adjustments as necessary

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in business analysis, finance, or a related field
  • Proven track record of successfully managing acquisitions and mergers
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies

Qualifications

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of financial modeling and valuation techniques
  • Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools
  • Passion for financial inclusion and helping underserved populations achieve financial stability
