Job Responsibilities
- Draft and review firm engagement letters, conflict waiver letters, outside counsel guidelines.
- Prioritize and manage a high volume of emails and other communications related to conflicts and new client engagements.
- Manage and respond to partner requests for changes in client engagement letters.
- Assist in training other firm members in drafting engagement letters and conflicts waivers, as required.
- Assist with a wide range of research and other requests as needed.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of two years’ legal experience, preferably in new business intake and/or conflicts in a mid to large-sized law firm.
- Preferred Knowledge of legal processes, business entities, and transactional concepts, including financing, emerging companies, and M&A, as they relate to conflicts of interest.
- Familiarity with legal ethics, risk management, and the Rules of Professional Conduct.
- Experience with Intapp, Contract Express, iManage, and Aderant.
- Experience in a transactional law firm environment.
- Proactive, solution-oriented professional with strong initiative and sound judgment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and professionally.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to synthesize complex information accurately.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to changing demands, and respond calmly and effectively under time pressure.
- High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
- Strong interpersonal and client service skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across teams and seniority levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Pay
The annualized base salary range for this position is expected to be $85,000.00 - $95,000.00. While this range reflects the minimum and maximum value for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations, the offer for the successful candidate for this position will be based on job related capabilities, applicable experience, and other factors such as work location.
