Bushland Field Worker - Bethania

About the Role

We are seeking motivated conservation team members to support our bushland operations across Government-managed reserves. This role focuses on maintaining urban natural areas and plantings across a diversity of priority sites.

Responsibilities

Duties will vary by site but typically include:

• Bushland regeneration
• Scheduled control of invasive weeds
• Attending to the health of our planting projects

Working Conditions

• Daily commencement from our Logan work base in Bethania
• Project locations include the Gold Coast, Logan, and South Brisbane
• Full-time equivalent hours offered under casual employment
• Above-award rates and a 9-day fortnight roster

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Conservation and Ecosystem Management course (or equivalent qualification)
• QLD White Card (Construction)
• Experience undertaking bush regeneration, horticultural knowledge and weed management
• Physically fit, motivated, and comfortable working outdoors
• Moderate level of physical fitness required for outdoor conservation work
