Job Summary

The Busser is responsible for ensuring tables are cleared, cleaned, and reset quickly for the prompt seating and service of guests.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Cleans and resets tables in accordance with sanitation guidelines and company standards
• Maintains cleanliness of all side stations
• Stocks dishes, silverware, paper supplies, and other required items to remain par levels of all equipment during service
• Sweeps or mops as needed
• Communicates with host for seating needs and guest service issues
• May assist in the deliverance of items ordered by guests, including food and beverage items
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills And Abilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented and thorough with strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work under stress in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of menu items and service as well as basic restaurant operations and culinary terminology
• Knowledge of dining room sanitation standards and procedures

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Customer service or food & beverage experience preferred
• Must obtain valid gaming license, where applicable

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• The employee is required to stand for the duration of the shift.
• The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb, balance, push, pull, lift, reach, twist, and bend while enduring prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• The employee may be required to lift up to 50 pounds or push carts weighing up to 200 pounds.
• The employee may be required to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
• The work environment may vary in levels of crowds, noise, and smoke, depending on the assigned station and customer volume
