Bus Monitor - IDEA Pharr (Immediate Opening)

About the role

The Bus Monitor is responsible for ensuring the safety of students by providing supervisory monitoring of students during transportation to/from school and on trips. Bus Monitors particularly ensure the safety of our youngest scholars (i.e. Pre-Kindergarten students) and special education scholars.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and orderly environment for students during transportation
• Supervise students loading and unloading the bus/van and during transportation
• Provide other support as requested, in order to ensure safe and efficient school operations at all times

Requirements

• Ability to learn systems and procedures quickly

Qualifications

HS diploma required, experience working with students preferred.

Benefits

Compensation for this role is set at an hourly rate of $10.00/hour. This role is part-time.
