About the role

The Bus Monitor ensures the safety of students by supervising them during transportation to and from school and on trips, with a special focus on Pre-Kindergarten and special education scholars.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and orderly environment for students during transportation.
• Supervise students while loading, unloading, and riding the bus or van.
• Provide additional support as needed to maintain safe and efficient school operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Experience working with students (preferred).
• Enjoys working with children.
• Manages students in a firm and fair manner.
• Strong communication skills with students and staff.
• Flexibility to adapt to change.
• Promptness and dependability.
• Ability to learn systems and procedures quickly.

Benefits
