Bus Driver - Temporary, New York City Children's Center - Bronx Campus, P27841

Duties Description

• Drive full-sized passenger buses on state facility grounds or over the road.
• Post manifests and other records of goods and people transported to document safe delivery.
• Ensure the welfare and safety of the bus and passengers while on duty.
• Operate a variety of motor vehicles, both on and off State property, to transport people, material, and equipment.
• Tend to routine maintenance of vehicles operated to ensure personnel and material are moved as required (e.g., change tires, check fluids and fills when needed, perform safety checks of vehicle lights).

Minimum Qualifications

• Possess a valid Class B New York State Driver's License.

Background checks will be required. This position is eligible for a down-state adjustment of $4,000. This is a temporary, 12 month long position.
