The Coach Operator ensures safe, reliable, and sustainable transportation for corporate employees by following safety protocols, schedules, and pre-determined routes.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate exceptional attendance and punctuality
  • Accurately complete vehicle safety checks and escalate any issues
  • Comply with all traffic laws and federal/state transit regulations
  • Interact professionally with customers, dispatch teams, and managers
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions about schedules, routes, transfer points, and delays
  • Promptly report vehicle maintenance, road/route concerns, accidents, or traffic disruptions using two-way radios or hands-free devices
  • Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Clean driving record
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Class A or B, with passenger and airbrake endorsements
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and background check

Qualifications

  • Hard Requirements: CDL (Class A or B), passenger and airbrake endorsements, clean driving record, ability to pass DOT physical/drug test/background check
  • Preferred: High School Diploma/GED, at least 1 year of driving experience

Skills & Physical Demands

  • Proficiency with route navigation apps and electronic logs to track routes/incidents
  • Ability to safely operate and drive for a minimum of 1 hour and 45 minutes without a break
  • Capability to drive in fluctuating weather and terrain
  • Flexibility to work outside regular days/shifts, including split shifts
  • Ability to lift 45+ pounds to assist with loading/unloading ADA passengers
