About the role
Kent School District is seeking multiple positions available with varying schedules. Multiple positions are currently open.
Responsibilities
- Drive school buses safely and efficiently
- Ensure students arrive at their destinations on time
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations
- Communicate effectively with students and parents
- Adhere to the Kent School District’s policies and procedures
Requirements
- Valid Washington State Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement
- Pass a background check
- Pass a drug test
- Pass a physical examination
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen
Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience driving school buses preferred
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay
The hourly rate ranges from $31.22 to $36.87, with a salary schedule following the Teamsters Salary Schedule.
Schedule
Positions vary in length of assignment, ranging from 190 days.
