About the role
LanguageLine Solutions is hiring interpreters to work remotely from home. We offer a competitive pay rate and a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Handle interpreting sessions promptly and professionally
- Render accurate and concise interpretations between Bunong and English speakers
- Adapt to various industries including healthcare, insurance, finance, and more
- Ensure confidentiality and respect cultural differences
- Provide emotional support during sensitive calls
- Follow client instructions and maintain high standards of service
Requirements
- Fluency in Bunong and English
- Cultural competency and regional accent awareness
- Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills
- Ability to remain calm and neutral during interpreting sessions
- At least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the US
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and write Bunong and English
Qualifications
- Education or work experience in language-related fields preferred
- Must be able to adapt to LLS technology enhancements
- Must have access to a quiet space and a reliable high-speed internet connection
Skills
- Strong language skills in Bunong and English
- Cultural sensitivity and understanding
- Professional demeanor and ability to handle sensitive topics
- Technical proficiency with company-provided software and systems
