The Requirements and Qualifications

• Be fluent in both English and the target language.
• State Certified a plus
• Have strong verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Be familiar with note taking and memory techniques.
• Professional and courteous behavior
• Be accustomed with the consecutive interpretation process.
• Strong ability and passion for interpretation and customer service
• Knowledge of the interpreter Code of Ethics
• At least 2 years of medical interpreting experience

From $40.00 per hour *Rate is subjective based on experience, training, education and location. There are some situations where the rate could be outside the notated range.
