About the role

Flores Foods, Inc. is a leading producer of packaged bakery goods. The production operator IV plays a crucial role in the team-oriented production process, focusing on operational tasks such as equipment operation, maintenance, and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated production equipment
• Diagnose and address machinery failures
• Aid in preventative maintenance
• Sanitize all related equipment
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Master the use of enterprise software for data input, retrieval, and reporting
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as directed by management

Requirements

• Two (2) or more years of related experience
• High School diploma or equivalency plus successful completion of a technical certification course
• Equivalent military training, other related technical training, or at least 45 college credit hours may substitute for technical training
• A technical certification course may include the completion of the AIB “Science of Baking” course

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency
• Technical certification course completed (e.g., HVAC, auto maintenance/repair)

Skills

• Ability to operate multiple types of production equipment
• Knowledge of safety procedures and GMPs
• Proficiency in enterprise software
• Ability to set up and monitor equipment according to established standards
