BUN: Wrap Operator/1st Shift, 5:30AM-5:30PM

About the role

Flores Foods, Inc. is seeking a Production Operator IV to join our team. This role is part of a team-oriented production process where the incumbent will operate automated production equipment, diagnose and address machinery issues, and ensure a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated production equipment
• Primary diagnosis of machinery failures
• Aid in preventative maintenance
• Sanitize all related equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of work area
• May operate facility metal detectors (fully trained and certified)
• Comply with work rules, safety rules, and GMPs
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as directed by management
• Train and operate multiple types of production equipment
• Maintain clean, organized work areas
• Complete required documentation and system entries accurately and on time

Qualifications

• Two (2) or more years of related experience
• High School diploma or equivalency plus successful completion of a technical certification course (e.g., HVAC, auto maintenance/repair, etc.)
• Equivalent military training, other related technical training, or successful completion of at least 45 college credit hours may be substituted for technical training
• A technical certification course may include the completion of the AIB “Science of Baking” course

Pay

$27.85 per hour
