Bulk Loader

In this role, you will be a key member of our Land O’Lakes, Inc. Omnium manufacturing team, responsible for bulk material handling activities that support the safe, efficient production of high-quality crop protection, adjuvant, and plant nutrition products. The Bulk Loader plays a critical role in ensuring materials are accurately received, stored, transferred, and shipped while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. This will include operating machinery and equipment and packaging the final product. Join our team to become part of a member-owned co-op that is Rooted In Tomorrow. Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload bulk tankers in accordance with established procedures and safety requirements
• Offload, position, and move railcars to support production and shipping needs
• Manage and monitor bulk tank inventory to ensure accurate product levels and material integrity
• Coordinate closely with the Lab, Formulation, and Production teams to ensure products meet quality specifications prior to transfer or shipment
• Follow all safety processes and actively promote safe work practices for yourself and others
• Ensure all quality standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed during bulk handling and transfer operations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bulk loading, unloading, and storage areas
• Demonstrate strong attendance, adaptability, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Collaborate with Leads and Management to complete daily work assignments and support overall plant operations
• Comply with all safety processes and insist on safety practices of self and others
• Show up on time, complete tasks by deadlines, and adapt to changes quickly
• Able to multi-task and keep up with production demands in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure all quality standards and standard operating procedures are followed during production process
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
• Collaborate and follow the instructions of Leads and Management to accomplish daily work assignments

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• 1 year or more of work experience in any industry
• Basic computer and math skills
• Able to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions in English
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve, and troubleshoot
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Always respectful

Preferred Experience

• 1+ year of manufacturing work experience
• Machine operation and/or forklift experience

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing, and other active movements
• Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
• Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present

Pay

$23.75 per hour

Schedule

1st Shift; 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM
Weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed
