About the role

As a Bulk Driver, you will execute successful product and material delivery operations to customers and PBV locations, ensuring our beverages reach their destinations efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver product and materials to large-format customers by driving and maneuvering a truck with a gross vehicle weight over 26,000 pounds.
  • Interact with customers in a manner consistent with PBV ideals and values.
  • Operate a hand-held device to accurately complete sales transactions.
  • Support movement, loading, and unloading of product and materials using material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack, switcher, tractor-trailer) at highly proficient levels.
  • Operate and work with support systems, documents, and equipment to document logistics and selling activity, including BOL, VCR, and a hand-held computer.
  • Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety guidelines.
  • Follow all company rules and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Class A CDL (must be able to obtain a CDL permit by the 15th business day and a full license within 45 business days of hire if not currently held).
  • Must pass a DOT physical prior to the first day of employment.
  • One (1) year of commercial driving experience in local delivery preferred.
  • Excellent customer service experience in a Direct Store Delivery (DSD) environment preferred.
  • Ability to perform basic financial calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods.
  • Corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
  • Must successfully complete forklift certification.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to meet PBV driving qualifications.
  • Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
