About the role

The opportunity is for a Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk position at El Super, a supermarket that has been serving the community for over 25 years. The role involves providing friendly, courteous, and helpful service, assisting customers, cleaning, filling, and rotating cheese and deli displays.

Responsibilities

• Replenish product as instructed by the Bulk Deli Manager or Assistant Bulk Deli Manager in a designated area.
• Aid customers throughout the shift.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the department during the shift.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively communicate with customers, clients, and other employees.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

Qualifications

• Basic PC/Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate (preferred).

Schedule

Two different shifts are available, with the morning shift involving replenishing product and assisting customers.
