Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk

About the role

Provide friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service in the bulk deli and cheese department.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers throughout the shift, answering questions and offering product guidance
• Maintain cleanliness of the deli and cheese display areas
• Replenish, rotate, and arrange cheese and deli products as instructed
• Lift and move weights up to 60 pounds regularly, and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and kneeling
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines, including having a Food Handler Card or equivalent certification
• Assist in product replenishment and display setup in the deli section
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the department

Requirements

• Ability to read and write in Spanish and English, and interact effectively with the public and coworkers
• Capable of understanding instructions, product labels, and pricing
• Basic PC/Outlook skills are a plus; retail management certification is an additional advantage
