About the role
The Facilities Programs Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring Minnesota Department of Health facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulations. This position oversees facility infrastructure programs, building systems operations, and supports sustainability initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead facility infrastructure programs, including maintenance, renovations, and capital projects.
- Oversee building systems operations by managing preventative maintenance, monitoring system performance, and ensuring operational reliability.
- Analyze space utilization and workplace operations to provide recommendations for optimization.
- Ensure all facilities meet applicable codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements through regular assessments and inspections.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate program status, operational impacts, and project outcomes.
Requirements
- Two (2) years of experience supporting facility operations, building systems, maintenance programs, construction projects, or related activities.
- Experience with building code compliance and regulatory inspections.
- Experience with facility management software, CMMS, or BMS.
- Experience with sustainability initiatives, energy management, or environmental stewardship practices.
- Experience supporting or managing large-scale construction, renovation, or infrastructure upgrade projects.
Qualifications
- Effectively coordinate facility maintenance, renovation, and infrastructure projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with facility staff, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Manage competing priorities and multiple assignments efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Exhibit strong communication skills to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Pay
$28.75 - $42.16 per hour; $60,030 - $88,030 annually.
Schedule
Day shift from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
