Mandatory Licences & Certifications

• Knowledge of building material sales and product application.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Execute detailed material takeoffs from blueprints to ensure project accuracy and profitability.
• Cookordinate phased material deliveries, including framing and forming packages, to keep project timelines on track.
• Manage the full project lifecycle as the primary point of contact for contractors and outside sales teams.
• Generate professional quotes and technical data entries within the ERP system to streamline the sales process.
• Facilitate real-time problem solving for customers across diverse product lines from appliances to lumber.
• Maintain a high-standard showroom environment that effectively showcases inventory and pricing to drive retail growth.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• A high school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Fluency in English with the ability to communicate technical details clearly to vendors and clients.
• Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 lbs. with regularity.
• Proven mathematical and reasoning skills necessary for complex quantity takeoffs and pricing.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specification documents.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• A two-year Associate Degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or Accounting.
• Two or more years of experience in building material sales or project coordination.
• Proficiency in Windows-based programs and experience with building materials quoting software.
• Formal training or professional experience as a quantity estimator.
