Building Supervisor

About the role

The Building Supervisor will be based in DFW, Texas and serve as an integral member of the Central Regions management team. This role leads commercial cleaning operations, ensures service commitments are fully met, and drives the business to exceed budget and growth expectations. The supervisor oversees scheduling, training, and performance management of staff for customers throughout the DFW area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and team personnel.
• Review service delivery and staffing reports to identify service issues.
• Analyze processes and practices with respect to customer needs and service expectations.
• Meet with company leaders to evaluate location performance, identify opportunities to enhance service effectiveness, and stay informed on regulatory trends.
• Understand all customer contract commitments and schedule services accordingly.
• Allocate resources for customer sites and maintain appropriate inventories of supplies.
• Meet regularly with Operations and customers to monitor service delivery performance and address deficiencies.
• Oversee recruitment, orientation, and continual development of cleaning staff.
• Interact with senior managers and owners of current and potential clients to promote business.
• Perform other duties as needed by the company.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience in a janitorial or related industry.
• Operations management and/or building/facilities management experience; working knowledge of the cleaning service industry is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with building owners, senior management, clients, vendors, and staff.
• Effective problem‑solving, leadership, organizational, and planning abilities.
• Strong business development experience, skills, and ideas.

Compensation

Salary: $16.50 to $18.25 per hour. Paid holidays and vacation time.
