Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building types and materials.
- Conduct field investigations, develop concept designs, and create construction documents for clients across a broad range of markets, including Federal/Local Government, Industrial, and Manufacturing.
Requirements
- 0-4 years of structural design experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with Structural Concentration from an ABET accredited program
- Internship experience in a related field preferred
- Experience with structural design and analysis software (RISA, STAAD, etc.)
- Experience with drafting and modeling software (Revit and AutoCAD)
- Knowledge of building codes and standards (IBC, ASCE, ACI, etc.)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with Structural Concentration preferred
- Professional Engineer or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) preferred
Skills
- Structural design and analysis software (RISA, STAAD, etc.)
- Drafting and modeling software (Revit and AutoCAD)
- Building codes and standards (IBC, ASCE, ACI, etc.)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
