Building Services Technician

You will be responsible for ensuring that all buildings and equipment are in good condition and operating efficiently. Additionally, you will maintain the cleanliness and attractiveness of grounds and common areas.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all buildings and equipment are in good condition and operating efficiently
• Maintain the cleanliness and attractiveness of grounds and common areas
• Respond promptly to any maintenance requests

Requirements

• Full Time Position starting at $19 per hour
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Work an on-call rotation, including occasional evenings and weekends
• Experience with general maintenance in a community setting; previous experience working in a health care environment is a plus
• Basic knowledge of appliance, HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing and electrical maintenance and repair
• Knowledge and experience working with technology such as smart phones, tablets, smart remotes, smart TVs and personal computers
• Ability to work with vendors
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
• Working knowledge of business software and Microsoft operating systems
• The ability to move quickly to various areas of the entire property
• Read, write and speak English in order to communicate clearly with other team members and residents
• Ability to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
• Valid Driver License
• Pass a drug screening
• Possess or willing to obtain a State of Oklahoma Health Department Fingerprint Clearance
