Building Services Aide - Night shift

Position Purpose

The Building Services Aide performs housekeeping duties for the hospital’s Environmental Services Department.

Responsibilities

• Perform all general cleaning tasks in maintaining an assigned area of the hospital in a clean, sanitary, orderly and satisfying surroundings for the patients, colleagues and public.
• Promote sanitary conditions which prevent the spread of infection and odors.
• Perform tasks which may involve exposure to visible blood contamination or reasonably anticipated blood contamination.
• Perform all cleaning, floor care and project assignments within area of responsibility or as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain equipment, tools and storage areas in clean, orderly and good operating condition.
• Respect Hospital and Company property.
• Perform similar duties as they extend to the Medical Office Building, other buildings and the adjacent grounds of the Medical Center's premises.

Minimum Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalency (preferred)
• 1 year experience (minimum)
• 2-4 years experience (preferred)

Schedule

Night Shift – 11:00 pm – 7:30 am with every other weekend commitment.
