Shift: Evening – 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm (with every other weekend commitment)
Location: St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA

About the role

The Building Services Aide performs housekeeping duties for the hospital’s Environmental Services Department, promoting sanitary conditions to prevent the spread of infection and odors. This position may involve exposure to visible or reasonably anticipated blood contamination.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all general cleaning tasks to maintain assigned hospital areas in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition for patients, colleagues, and the public.
  • Complete floor care and project assignments within the area of responsibility or as directed by a supervisor.
  • Maintain equipment, tools, and storage areas in clean, orderly, and good operating condition.
  • Respect Hospital and Company property.
  • Perform similar duties in the Medical Office Building, other buildings, and adjacent grounds of the Medical Center’s premises as needed.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalency (preferred).
  • 1 year of experience (minimum); 2-4 years of experience (preferred).
