Job description and duties
The successful candidate(s) will develop and instruct courses based on a supplied overview of content for each level. This position is based out of Terrace; however, there will be instances where travel to other communities within the CMTN region may be necessary. Please indicate which course(s) from the list above you are interested in teaching.
Qualifications
Qualifications: A minimum of a high school diploma and ideally post-secondary training related to this field. Preference will be given to candidates currently working in all aspects of commercial cleaning (including floor cleaning and maintenance) in the Janitorial/Custodial field as an owner/operator. A Provincial Instructor's Diploma and/or Train the Trainer or ISS courses will be considered an asset. Required skills include organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to motivate and mentor adult learners. Traditional teaching experience is not mandatory, although a combination of education, training, and mentoring experience will be taken into consideration.
