Compensation: $22/hour
Schedule
- Sunday to Thursday: 1 pm – 9:30 pm (night shift)
- Tuesday to Saturday: 5 am – 1:30 pm (morning shift)
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitation tasks, which may include vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting in assigned areas
- Clean and empty tools and equipment used daily, such as vacuums and carpet cleaners
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including sinks, floors, toilets, and shower areas
- Maintain bathrooms stocked with supplies, such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towel dispensers
- Empty trash bins in assigned areas, including offices, break rooms, or conference rooms
- Maintain windows around the center clean, both indoors and outdoors
- Assist in organizing designated areas after cleaning
- Adhere to safety protocols when handling cleaning materials and chemicals
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Properly store all sanitation equipment
- Report any maintenance or repairs issues to their manager promptly
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1-2 years of sanitation experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision while maintaining teamwork
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Knowledge of proper handling and disposal of hazardous chemicals and materials, following safety protocols
- Detailed oriented
- Must successfully pass a background check every 3rd year on your anniversary date
- Must be able to work in a cleaning/sanitation environment with water and other cleaning chemicals
- Must be available to work during a shift scheduled anytime during a 24-hour day, over any 7-day period, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time, climb stairs, and lift from floor to above head 25 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally throughout shift
- Ability to work in refrigerated conditions (0-38 degrees) or heat (80+ degrees), and in environments with exposure to loud machinery, when necessary
- Able to work with yeast and flour products
- At times, prolonged and frequent walking over short distances
