Main Responsibilities
- Ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the dairy production equipment and environment.
- Operating Clean-In-Place (CIP) systems to clean and sanitize equipment, tanks, and pipelines.
- Disassembling and reassembling equipment for thorough cleaning as per the Master Sanitation Schedule.
- Following all safety procedures and policies, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintaining specialized cleaning equipment and reporting any malfunctions or needs for repair.
- Accurately logging all required sanitation metrics and completing documentation for quality assurance.
- Assisting in the training and development of new operators, if required.
- Complying with regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor, which may include supporting production during slower periods.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to follow recipes, measurements, and instructions accurately.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy objects.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
