About the role

The Facility Management Services Coordinator supports the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of WoodmenLife's physical workspaces. This role serves as a key resource for facility services, workplace support, shipping and receiving operations, office moves, conference room setup, and furniture management.

Responsibilities

  • Support associate relocations, workspace moves, and furniture reconfigurations.
  • Aid in workstation setup and workplace adjustments.
  • Provide day-to-day facility support to ensure an efficient work environment.
  • Assist with facility improvement projects and workplace initiatives.
  • Support internal customers with facility-related requests and services.
  • Receive and distribute shipments throughout the Home Office.
  • Deliver office supply inventory, including paper and envelopes, to departments.
  • Process outgoing shipments using the FedEx shipping system.
  • Absorb and prepare materials for the Sales Force.
  • Cookinate shipping and receiving activities while maintaining accurate records.
  • Set up conference rooms and meeting spaces for business meetings and events.
  • Reconfigure furniture and room layouts to support organizational needs.
  • Ensure meeting spaces are prepared and ready for use.
  • Rotate and manage shredding bins throughout the facility.
  • Support furniture moves and workspace modifications.
  • Aid in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Cookordinate facility service requests and work orders as assigned.
  • Deliver seamless, trustworthy, attentive, and resourceful (S.T.A.R.) customer service.
  • Build positive working relationships with associates and business partners.
  • Communicate effectively regarding facility services and workplace needs.
  • Support special projects and additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic computer and keyboarding skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel or a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to efficiently enter, retrieve, and manage information using a PC.
  • Strong customer service skills and commitment to delivering a positive associate experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional attitude and commitment to teamwork and service excellence.
  • Ability to meet expectations for attendance, punctuality, and dependability.
